| Could anyone direct me to where i could get an electricity generating set that could work on biogas. I am in the process of construting a digester on my farm but i want to use the generated biogas to product elctricity of the farm use. |

These are german firms, though.
In Germany almost every agricultural biogas plant produces electricity from the biogas, since the price for electricity produced from renewable energy sources is guaranteed by law (EEG = "Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz").
So production of electricity is the main aim. Heat is a by-product. Generally there is more heat produced (blown into the air) than you can use, so a well designed heat-using concepts should be preferred to achieve high total efficiency. _________________ Markus Schlattmann

| Many of the major diesel engine manufacturers produce conversions for their engines which can run on biogas, and often manufacture the whole set, including electrical generators. |
